Yes. Hemp-derived CBD oil that contains less than 0.3% THC is legal under the 2018 U.S. Farm Bill. All Healing Green Farms products are made from certified organic hemp and are third-party tested to ensure compliance with federal law.

Our hemp extracts contain over 80 different phyto-Cannabinoids. In addition to the Cannabinoids naturally present in our agricultural hemp extracts, there are also many other types of natural molecules and phyto-chemical compounds such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavanoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, pigments, water, and terpenes. The most common terpenes in our hemp extracts are Myrcene, Beta-caryophyllene, Terpinolene, Linalool, alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Nerolidol og Phytol, trans-alpha-Bergamotene, Limonene/ beta-Phellandrene (Co-elution), and alpha-Humulene.

What’s the difference between hemp and marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana both come from the Cannabis sativa plant family, but they’re grown and used for very different purposes. The key difference is in their chemical makeup:

• Hemp naturally contains high levels of CBD and very low levels of THC (0.3% or less by law in the U.S.), so it cannot produce intoxicating effects. It’s often used for wellness products, textiles, food, and more.

• Marijuana typically contains much higher levels of THC, the compound that produces a “high.”

So while they’re botanical cousins, hemp and marijuana are legally and functionally distinct. At Healing Green Farms, all of our products are made with organic, farm-grown hemp, never marijuana.
