Janie’s professional life began in the classroom, spending decades teaching and consulting for children with special needs. But her path to CBD started in a much more personal place: as a mom on a mission. Years ago, while searching for anything that might ease her young daughter’s constant anxiety, she discovered the incredible potential of CBD to bring calm and balance in a natural way.
Her work with children reinforced what she had seen at home. She saw that this plant-based remedy could make a meaningful difference, especially when traditional approaches didn’t quite do the job.
Deeply connected to her family’s third-generation North Carolina farm, Janie became a licensed hemp grower through the North Carolina Hemp Pilot Program, blending her love for the land with her passion for creating products that truly help.
Today, she personally handles every step of Healing Green Farms’ small-batch production — from formulating blends to hand-labeling each bottle. For Janie, this isn’t just a business; it’s a labor of love, crafted for friends, family, the local community, and YOU. And her daughter, Gracie is still one of her most loyal customers, using the CBD her mom still makes her to manage the ups and downs of adultdhood!
When she’s not “playing” in the farm’s 300-bush rose garden or helping to host beautiful gatherings, you’ll find Janie scrapbooking or enjoying time with her favorite people.
